Welcome
to the secondary years of schooling at St Paul’s.
Throughout these years our main focus is to give
students a wide variety of experiences. The
Secondary School offers opportunities for all
of our students to become life long learners.
It exists to develop the full potential of each
and every student through an innovative academic,
cultural, spiritual and sporting program, all
provided within a caring and supportive pastoral
environment.
All
students in the Secondary School have their own
notebook computer. The buildings have full network
connectivity via cable and wireless technology.
This enables each class to access to information
and research online using the latest in technology.
Every
student is placed within a House and a Tutor Group.
These smaller groups within the school help create
a sense of belonging and identity. Tutors, Year
Level Coordinators and Heads of House monitor
the daily needs of the students in their care.
There
are many opportunities for leadership in the Secondary
School and students can aspire to become School
Captains, Prefects, House Captains, members of
the Student Representative Council and Captains
of sporting and co-curricular activities. Our
teachers support these students to develop their
leadership skills as they take on the challenges
of their chosen activity. |
